Keith and Keely Mann Establish Scholarship for Brooklyn Students

Keith Mann and his wife, Keely, have started a scholarship fund to help low income students in Brooklyn. The Scholarship of Professional Achievement will go to a potential business leader. The couple are partnering with Uncommon Schools to offer the scholarship to one of the organization’s Brooklyn high schools. Uncommon Schools is a non-profit charter management organization. The organization helps low-income students prepare and attend college, a goal which Keith Mann supports fully.

In order to receive the scholarship applicants must submit a 1,000 word essay on how important attending college is to their achievement goals. The scholarship is open to graduating seniors who attend Uncommon Charter High School. Applicants can submit essays no later than February 29. A winner will be decided and announced in March. The total scholarship is worth $5,000.
Mann is a big supporter of education and philanthropic causes. He is the managing director of Dynamic Search Partners. The company is a search firm that helps important hedge-funds in the alternative investment field find talented executives to help them grow. In the past 10 years, the company has successfully found candidates for major equity firms by networking with clients across the world. They find executives for the right firms by understanding what each firm requires out of the position and understanding the nuances behind hiring executives. With his expertise in business and finding the right leader for an executive position, it is no wonder Mann wants to help people better themselves in the business world with a college education.
