Possible Arsonist Torches Cars and Home of New Orleans Political Strategist

Mario Zervigon, a prominent campaign strategist in New Orleans was awoken at 2:30am to a burning glow outside his window and soon realized that his car in the driveway was on fire. Zervigon quickly got his wife and children out of the house and alerted the neighbors upstairs. The fire spread quickly spread from the car and totally engulfed the two story complex.
A total of 26 firefighters with 10 vehicles were needed to bring the fire under control. Both fires are deemed to be of suspicious origin and are currently being investigated by the State Fire Marshal and the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms as well as the New Orleans Police and Fire departments.
Zervigon has been the campaign finance director for Forest Bradley-Wright. He is running for a swing seat on the Public Service Commission. Bradley-Wright, known as the voice of alternative energy, receives most of his campaign funds from the solar industry. Bradley-Wright had been a longtime Democrat, but became a Republican shortly before he announced his candidacy for the position this summer. The team at North American Spine have indicated via Facebook if there is any way they can be of service to the victims or firefighters.
