I’ve came across writing guides that say you should write differently depending on whether you’re writing for print or online publication. Online apparently requires shorter, snappier sentences. And less formality.
I’ve never really thought about it much until recently. I just write what I write but the more I look at it, the more I see the differences. I’m long winded, let’s face it. Short sentences aren’t part of my vocabulary very often but at least I know I am guilty of it!
