If you’re a visual person, mind maps can be a very useful tool indeed for brainstorming creative ideas. One website I know of, called bubbl.us, offers an online version. It’s a personal favorite of mine and I thought it warranted a review. Easy to use, you can choose whether to collaborate with friends and coworkers on a mind map or simply for your own planning purposes.
